We’re excited to share that AO1 is participating in the Solana Hackathon, hosted by in collaboration with the Solana Foundation. This is a huge opportunity for us to push AO1 further, refine our tech stack, and connect with builders focused on real-time data, on-chain intelligence, and next-gen consumer tools.
AO1 is built around one core idea: give Solana traders smart, real-time tools to discover and act on emerging token trends.
Since we started building in late 2024, we’ve focused on infrastructure, scraping systems, and a modular AI agent — Agent Penelope — capable of interpreting live market data and delivering useful insights.
This hackathon is a chance for us to accelerate that work, test new modules, and collaborate with others building at the intersection of AI, data, and crypto trading infrastructure.
We're dedicating this sprint to three major technical improvements:
We’re expanding our current data ingestion pipeline to support:
Live indexing of Pump.fun token launches (via custom scraper API)
On-chain tracking of wallet behavior, deployments, volume, and liquidity
Cross-referencing new token activity with existing trader behavior
This serves as the foundation for everything Agent Penelope analyzes.
We’re giving Penelope a serious upgrade with:
Semantic analysis of social sentiment across Telegram and X
Early narrative detection and ranking
Risk-scoring based on holder count, LP trends, and behavioral clustering
Custom alert logic for user-defined triggers (e.g. “Alert me when volume spikes 3x within 30 minutes on tokens under $5M cap”)
We’re building out an alert layer that allows users to:
Subscribe to Penelope-curated token lists
Get notified about high-momentum events (wallet flows, influencer mentions, liquidity changes)
Receive real-time updates via Telegram, with mobile push in progress
This is designed to make AO1 not just a scanner, but a reactive intelligence system.
Most token tools show you what already happened. AO1 focuses on what’s happening right now — and what actions users can take based on that.

On-chain and social data fusion: Liquidity, holder activity, and community signals in one system
Built for fast decision-making: Traders don’t need dashboards, they need precision alerts
We’re a small group of university students based in Canada, passionate about crypto and machine learning. AO1 is our way of applying what we know technically to a real, fast-moving market with real users.
Everything is built in-house — infrastructure, frontend, scraping tools, agent design — and we’re committed to making this product as useful as possible for on-chain traders.
As part of the hackathon, we’re looking to:
Collaborate with other teams building in data tooling, intelligence systems, or Solana infra
Gather feedback on Penelope’s outputs and alert performance
Explore integrations with wallets, aggregators, and community hubs
Connect with potential partners who share a vision for fast, AI-driven crypto tooling
Following the hackathon, we plan to:
Launch a deeper suite of Penelope prompts and templates
Expand our indexing to cover Solana DEX activity and on-chain swaps
Develop an in-browser/mobile experience with push alerts
Introduce user feedback loops to train the agent’s responses
Explore light token mechanics if aligned with usage
This hackathon is a chance for us to prove what we’re building — not just pitch it.
